Page and Post Options

Each WordPress Page and Post has an additional meta box for options regarding breadcrumbs, sidebar layouts, featured areas and any additional options specific to the theme. The options can change based on the Template selected. For example, if this page is using the Post Grid or Post List templates, then additional options will appear to select post categories, and the number of post to display.

Page Options

For pages, you have the following options to customize the appearance of the page.

  • Page Title - Show or Hide the page title that is displayed above your content.
  • Breadcrumbs - Show or hide the page breadcrumbs.
  • Sidebar Layout - This will override the sidebar layout from Theme Options for this page.
  • Header - Either show the default header, transparent header or hide the header.
  • Footer - Show or hide the footer.

In regards to the header, if you decide to use the transparent header, you will want to use the featured area or set a featured image as the header will become fixed over the content at the top of the page.

If the page template is a post grid or list template, you will have additional options to set the post category, columns and thumbnail sizes.

For blog post, you have the following options to customize which are similar to the page options mentioned above.
